Private Referral / Medicare Services
National Disability Insurance Agency Participants
All services at Guiding Pathways are charged at an hourly rate. These fees are consistent with the 2026-2027 NDIS Pricing Schedule.
Please note that Self-managing participants are not subject to the price limits or other pricing arrangements set out in the NDIS Pricing Schedule and its associated documents.

NDIS Cancellation Policy
Cancellations at short notice (where the participant has given less than 2 clear business days’ notice) will be charged at 100% of the total appointment cost including travel if applicable.
Non-attendance will be charged as a cancellation.
NDIS Travel Fees – Self Managed Participants
Travel – Labour Costs : Self Managed Participants
Practitioner’s time for travel to and from appointments outside of the clinic will be charged at your practitioner’s hourly rate for supports to the same funding line being used for therapy. Travel costs for time are capped at 30 mins each way in metropolitan and larger rural and regional centres (MMM1-3 areas) and 60 mins each way in smaller rural and remote areas (MMM4-5 areas). Travel costs for labour will be apportioned between clients where a worker is travelling to provide services to more than one client in a ‘region’.

Travel to locations outside of the clinic will also incur a non-labour travel charge of $0.99 per km. This may be charged both to and from your appointment. The non-labour travel charge is in addition to the labour travel charge of up to 30 minutes each way. Non-labour travel costs will be apportioned between clients where a worker is travelling to provide services to more than one client in a ‘region’.

Travel costs for labour will be apportioned between clients where a worker is travelling to provide services to more than one client in a ‘region’.

Psychology
Your child may be eligible for a Mental Health Care plan which will provide a Medicare rebate for the session. You can discuss with your GP or Paediatrician if your child would be eligible.

Health Care Card holders are eligible for a discount of $50 off the standard consultation price for private referral and Medicare Psychology services.
Speech Pathology
Your child may be eligible for a Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP) which will provide a Medicare rebate for the session. You can discuss with your GP or Paediatrician if your child would be eligible.

Assessments
* The fees listed here are based on a standard assessment. If your assessment is found to be complex on review of your intake information and more time is needed, the fee will be higher. Should this be the case, our administration team will contact you with an adjusted quote.
Primary School Aged Children Only

* Your child may be eligible for a Medicare rebate which would cover part of the cost of the assessment (approximately $382.10). Your child would need to be referred by their Paediatrician or a Psychiatrist in order to access these rebates.
